Delphian Lodge 44 AF & AM was formed Under  Dispensation dated Dec 12, 1864.
The Charter for Delphian Lodge was approved by Grand Lodge on Oc t 18, 1865. The Lodge's Articles of Incorporation were approved by the State of Kansas  on Feb 26, 1866. The Lodge met in several buildings beginning with Bruns Hall and moved into its current building  on the South side of the Square in Garnett, KS on the Third floor around 1912. Delphian Lodge celebrated her 50th anniversary on Oct 18, 1915 and her 100th anniversary in 1965.  Greeley Lodge # 211  consolidated with Delphian Lodge in September 1940. Richmond Lodge # 426 consolidated with Delphian Lodge in Nov 1946.
Avon Lodge # 305 at Westphalia consolidated with Delphian Lodge on Feb 11, 1963.
